Some people think blue is a sad colour, but it is my favourite colour because it always brings me joy. My parents represent the brave, kind, smart and adventurous people that our island Bermuda is known for.

To get this photo called Woven Woods I climbed a rocky cliff. The silver branches contrasting against the vibrant green coastal plants caught my eye. I like the contrast of the dead branches woven within the living trees. The plants of Bermuda stand strong living in harmony together.

I took this photo at midday from our home in the marina where these huge empty buildings sit high above us. I titled the photo Empty Space because on this cloudless day, the derelict buildings still shine. Although Casemate Barracks no longer houses people, it is always there reminding me about Dockyard’s important history.
