About the Competition

In memory of Dr. Reg Grundy, AC OBE, and Joy Chambers Grundy, who had a deep passion for Bermuda’s natural and historical environment, and for supporting local students.

What’s hidden in plain sight around you? From a tiny creature in your backyard to a detail on an old building you pass every day, Bermuda is full of wonders waiting to be noticed.

This year, we want you to look closer and show us the Island through your eyes. Grab your camera or phone and capture the overlooked details, unexpected beauty, and everyday moments that make Bermuda unique.

Open to all local photography enthusiasts aged 7 to 18.

You can choose one, two, or all three categories— but remember, you may only submit one photo per category. All images submitted must be “straight out of the camera”. No alterations using image editing software or digital enhancements – we’re honouring Dr. Grundy’s signature style!

All entries must be accompanied by a 50 words or less artist statement. 

Note: Whether you’re 7 or 18, your perspective matters. So get creative, have fun, and show us your Bermuda!
