I took this photo on my phone of my little sister Nell as she was just about to leave to go to her first ballet class. I like how sunny it is, how she is wearing sunglasses and that you can see my Dad's flipflops thrown to the side. Saturday mornings are really busy for us. I liked capturing this quiet moment and just feels very Bermudian to me.
Hungry Caterpillar – This hungry monarch caterpillar is having a feast on this milkweed plant – the only thing they eat! I love the bright, bold colours of the flowers and caterpillar together against the contrasting green leaf background.
This photograph is taken from the bottom of the highest point in Bermuda, Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse. This photo captures the size and its ability to make your neck hurt just to look at the top. The creases in the paint and the marks of damage creates an image of a strong, resilient building at the top of the world. I call this photo, The foot of a Giant.
This is a photograph of a man called Mike. I was at Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse, and there was a man wearing a black and white floral shirt. When he turned around, I instantly saw an amazing white beard and some stylish sunglasses. All of these things made a great character for a portrait with the blue Bermuda sky. He is a taxi driver that was waiting for his clients in the lighthouse. What a coincidence that I bumped into the perfect person for this picture. I call this photo, Mike Harvey.
Dinner Time – I was lucky to capture this special moment between a Red Cardinal mother and her chick in our back garden. I watched them for hours. The mum would leave to find food and chirp on her return. The little chick would chirp back!

White Overview Bermuda has an exceptional way of collecting rainwater off of our white roofs and drains into our tanks to be reused. Being on an airplane is my favorite place to be. Seeing all the white roofs with all the beautiful sea around it looking out of the airplane made this picture perfect!
"Be(e) able to see" - People are very lucky to see the world in colors. I wonder, what about other animals? What attracts bees to the colorful flower? Do whales enjoy the colors of reefs? Walking with my camera in Victoria Park, I intentionally did my nature photography black and white. Lack of color gives the line sharpness and allows it to focus. My portrait of the mighty bee.

Going Home. The day has been long and we are going home. Waiting outside of Sandy’s Secondary Middle School for the school bus you can feel the sigh of relief from surviving the school day. But when we step on the bus life is reignited; the loud sound of chatting, laughing, screaming and the whine of the bus. When we get to Cedar Hill there is an exodus. And then there is only me and few other friends riding into Hamilton.
There is Always Light. I have much to say about this lavish, tranquil and gorgeous sight. Sunsets are my happy place. I enjoy taking pictures of the sunsets and sunrises of Bermuda’s lovely island. The frosty red and delightful orange skies lighten up Bermuda to an exceptional extent.
Blinds. It’s just something about an old aged look that intrigues me. It is a work of art in itself, but if there is a group playing in it the park becomes a whole new world.

Peace on the street! This building is located on a chaotic street in Warwick. This street is very busy. With cars and bikes speeding, this road can be dangerous. Many accidents have happened on this street. But at the end or beginning of this road, depending on which way you drive, sits this building. In the old days, it was a train stop.
