"Reef Rescue" - At sunrise on Elbow Beach, I met divers catching Lionfish for the Winter Lionfish Derby. Lionfish look pretty with their orange striped fins, but they are dangerous marine wildlife and don’t belong in Bermuda’s ocean. They eat small fish and shrimp that help keep the reef clean and healthy. Nothing eats Lionfish here, so they spread fast. Catching them helps protect our local reef and ocean friends.

"It's show time!" - For the last 5 decades, every year, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society has presented different musicals on the Bermuda stage. I found this very interesting, that all productions give a chance for Bermudians of all ages and music/dancing abilities to perform on the stage along with professionals, every time creating an excellent show. Unless you are not allowed to take photographs during the show, I captured a part of the main characters during intermission, during their interactions with the audience. I chose this photo because it reminds me of a good time spent with my family and friends watching "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
"Dangerous beauty" Washed up on the Bermuda pink beach, the Portuguese man o' war is carefully omitted by beachgoers. This jellyfish-like organism has venomous tentacles that can sting painfully. I chose this picture because people used to admire nice animals and despite those dangerous to them, I want to show them the beautiful side of Portuguese man o' war.

The picture is captured in Somerset Long Bay Reserve, which has a beautiful pond that houses many red eared slider turtles along with these two ducks which I always see here. The turtle popped it's head at the exact time. It is an invasive species and makes me wonder if the two ducks brought the turtle here to Bermuda (as it listened to the ducks and didn't open its mouth) unlike mentioned the story. The ducks looks so happy swimming along with their friend turtle here. I also love the shine in their eyes.
