During a boating celebration, I took this photo while touring around the island. The shipwreck caught my attention because of its unique appearance. It represents Forgotten Heritage by reminding us that pieces of history remain around us, even when we are focused on discovering new places.

I chose this photo because the bird caught my attention while standing by the water on Front Street. It reminds me that beauty can be found in ordinary moments, even through a phone camera. To me, photography is a way to express myself and capture the beauty of wildlife that people often overlook.

I chose this photo of the cave entrance at Admiralty House because it feels like a doorway into the past. To me, it represents forgotten secrets, hidden stories, and mysteries waiting to be discovered. The darkness inside makes me wonder what this cave has witnessed and what parts of Bermuda’s history remain unknown.

I chose this photo of Admiralty House Ballroom because it reminds me of how important it is to remember where we come from. To me, the ballroom symbolizes the memories, connections, and stories left behind by past generations. Its weathered walls remind me that although time changes places, their history will always be part of Bermuda’s identity. I believe preserving places like this helps us stay connected to our roots.

I enjoyed seeing the many hues of blues as I enjoyed dinner with my mama. It let me know that beauty can be found all around us if we just stay still and open our eyes. The skies and the ocean combine in this photo.

My photograph shows the beauty of nature. I wanted to capture flowers and highlight their colours and details. In this photograph I focused my camera on the flowers while blurring the foreground and background so that the main subject would stand out. Natural light helped bring out shades of pink, yellow and green. I chose this photograph because I like how the colours work together and how peaceful the scene looks. I hope people who see my photograph will pause to appreciate the things, in nature that we often ignore.

I chose to photograph an officer from the Bermuda Police Service Roads Policing Unit because I wanted to highlight the role police officers play in keeping our community safe. As someone who enjoys photographing emergency services I wanted to capture the officer in action while carrying out his duties. I took this photograph from a side angle to show both the officer and the police motorcycle. The blue and yellow colours stand out against the background while the natural lighting brings out the details of the motorcycle. To me this photograph represents dedication, responsibility and service. I wanted to remind people that behind every uniform is a person who works hard to protect others and make a difference, in our community.

I chose to photograph the Unfinished Church in St. George’s because it is an important part of Bermuda’s history that has been standing for many years. Even though the church was never completed, its beautiful stone arches and walls still tell a story of the past. I took this photograph from a low angle to capture the height of the structure and show its amazing details. The natural sunlight creates shadows and contrast, bringing out the texture of the old stone. To me, this photograph represents how something does not have to be finished to have meaning or beauty. I wanted to remind people that even as time passes, we should never forget the history and heritage that make Bermuda special.

I chose this photo because of its unique composition, diving with people I trust is where I feel safest especially in moments like this. The diver is small and almost hidden by the blue, yet it is unmistakably the heart of the photo

I chose this photo beacuse a parrot fish is quite easy to miss. Exploreing Bermuda's reefs is where I feel the greatest sense of belonging, momments like this is why I never stop looking. The scales and colors of the parrot fish echo the surrounding water and rocks, so while it’s in the open, it’s hidden.

This picture was taken outside my house after a long day of chaos, I used an old DSLR which was lent to me and this was one the of the first pictures that I captured while learning how to use an actual camera. For me, even though the camera was old it still captured the vision I was going for which was calm after chaos. I feel like the deep colours in the sky represents a warm feeling like home before it finally turns a dark blue.

I chose this photo to touch on nature's secret. I find that often we overlook the hidden secrets of nature out of our own disregard for its immense beauty. This photo is special to me because I captured it while being surrounded by the people I love and this little crab caught my eye in a footprint my best friend had just made. This image truly represents the theme by highlighting how nature and human action are more connected than we may think.

I really like the composition in this photo. This sign in my Nana's kitchen has always been funny to me and reminds me of so much memories with her. I think it represents the theme because my family matters to me.

It shows Bermuda’s beauty. It is a childhood memory spot where I learned to jump off a dock for the first time. I selected the wildlife category because around the rocks they were actually white crabs and fish in the water. This spot in Bermuda has loads of wildlife all around.
