During Heritage month ( May 2025)
Two longstanding St Mary’s church members- brother and sister, Calvin Smith ( recently deceased August 10th, 2026) and Valeria Tuzo shared stories of spending their whole lives involved at St Mary’s Church.
Mrs Tuzo was once Church Warden for many years. She and her brother , Calvin were interviewed by Sandra Thornhill another longstanding church member and former church warden. They brought with them a christening gown that had been passed down in their family for over 100 years.
Their talk generated lots of conversation and memories for the congregation members that grew up with them.
Following the presentation they were given gifts from the church.
