The offspring of Clarence and Ruth Simons standing outside the church on Christmas Day 2013- and as tradition called for- each ‘Simons family’ branch would take a group photo. The photo was always festive as everyone loved to wear red for the season.
Ruth Simons was very active in St Mary’s church . She was also one of the founders of the Hibiscus Garden Club who are closely linked to St Mary’s Church.
Ruth was known to create beautiful flower arrangements in the church and regularly was on the flower rotation ensuring that beautiful flower and foliage displays were present in the church on Sundays.
