I chose this photo because a it means the world to me. The story behind this photo really makes me proud of my work as a young photographer. After a long period of struggle for me trying to improve my work, I started look at other people’s photos to only find a pattern. Every time I saw something I liked I would get angry that I didn’t take that. Then I started looking down a more realistic and optimistic path. I realized the reason I couldn’t take those photos was because I didn’t have the opportunity. I had never seen a bluebird before and my friends were aching me to go out and take a photo. I sat at that bird box for over an hour waiting for the perfect moment. After I took this photo, I started shooting daily. This is the photo that took my hobby out of this world. It’s what shaped who I am today.
