First day of internship in 2021 by Chynna Trott

I started my summer internship at NMB in 2021 and it was in no way what I expected. As you can see from my attire, I was in no way prepared for what Deb (NMB Curator), Andrew (NMB Facilities Manager), and Zoe (NMB Conservator)  would have me do on my first day. I arrived at the museum on my first day dressed in smart casual attire and then was transported by Deb to Wantley where I got an introduction by fire if you will. I haven’t worn a dress or sandals since and I keep a pair of sneakers at my desk now, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Interning at the Museum helped to steer me towards my career, which I’m forever thankful for.
