This picture shows an old wooden pillory at st.georges in Bermuda, a reminder of the island’s colonial past. I chose it because it represents how Bermuda preserves its history, even the difficult parts, to teach future generations. To me, it shows how far the island has come from strict colonial times to a independent culture that values its heritage.
