World’s first cast iron residence.

Sitting high on the hill of the Keep Fort, the wrap-around verandahs of the House offer panoramic views of the Royal Naval Dockyard and the countless blues of the surrounding ocean. It is the ultimate setting for cocktails, wedding ceremonies, receptions, or a dinner to impress. The three-storey Georgian building features grand dining rooms, impressive art, mahogany crown mouldings, french doors, and crystal chandeliers. Enjoy indoor and outdoor entertaining.

The Flag Pole

Located outside the front steps of the House, flanked by historic guns with views of the Great Sound, the Flagpole can provide the ideal picture-perfect outdoor setting for a wedding ceremony.

Queen’s Exhibition Hall/1850 Ordnance House

Once a 19th century ammunition storehouse that housed 4,000 kegs of gunpowder, the grand building is complete with high vaulted brick ceilings and priceless artifacts. Designed by the architect responsible for the V&A Museum and Royal Albert Hall in London, its 4,000 square feet can host cocktail receptions or elegant seated dining.

The historic Keep Yard, used for the storage of large ordnance is encircled by natural cliffs, tropical vegetation, and impressive limestone ammunition buildings, and provides a huge grass arena perfect for large tented events.

Soak in the nautical atmosphere with pre-dinner cocktails and canapes or an intimate dinner amongst a collection of rare local watercraft. The two-storey Boat Loft was originally used as a workshop and storehouse for the Fort.
