‘The Piper’s Lament’
Every Remembrance Day, Bermuda proudly remembers its heritage by honoring the brave sailors aboard the HMS Jervis Bay. During WW2, Jervis, stationed in Bermuda, was tasked with escorting a convoy to the UK. They willingly sailed into a battle with a powerful German cruiser they would certainly not win, humbly sacrificing themselves for other ships to escape.
