Fishing is a big part of Bermuda’s culture. This photo captures a local who is taking pride in his day’s catch after being out all day long in his dinghy boat. He is cleaning a bunch of coneys which he caught on hand lines. Some will be gutted and some will be filleted. It is rewarding for Bermudians to go out on the water and come back with fresh fish to eat. For me, fishing is not only a hobby of mine, but it is part of my heritage that I cherish.
