As deeply rooted in Hamilton Parish as the Holy Trinity Church is, so too is the Davis family. Hackie Davis as he was more often referred to was active in the day-to-day life and goings on of Hamilton Parish and the Church. Coming from a large family, Church was an integral part of his life and Holy Trinity was and still is considered by the family as “our Church”.

His history with the people of Hamilton Parish and the Church was one of service and as area MP he felt a great responsibility to both. Fond memories indeed of him and his dear friend Dr. Walwyn Hughes propagating Bermuda Roses and collecting fresh vegetables to offer for sale at the annual church fair held in February. They enjoyed the process which ultimately helped the Church help others.

It is only fitting that he was laid to rest there.
